Applications Engineer

The Applications Engineer is a customer-facing individual who provides technical expertise through training and support covering a selected range of PTC solutions, primarily Creo, MathCAD and Windchill. Working under supervision, this person offers advice on the best software applications and techniques to address customer needs. This person is expected to perform the required activities to support the technical team primarily in post-sales engagements.

 

Requirements

Three to five years’ experience within a design background coupled with a strong knowledge of CAD/CAM/PLM or High Exposure to PTC Products within another sector.

The right applicant will ideally have experience with the PTC suite of products (Creo, Windchill, ThingWorx, MathCAD) but experience with similar software packages would be considered.

 

Essential:

  • Product Design/Industrial Design degree or Recognised Equivalent
  • CAD/CAM/PLM experience
  • Willingness to Travel
  • Customer Focused
  • Full Driving License
  • Excellent communication skills


Desired:

  • CREO/MathCAD/Windchill experience
