3 Reasons to Attend the NDA Supply Chain Event 2015

Posted by Emma Rudeck on 22-Oct-2015 11:17:00

The NDA Supply Chain event is taking place on 4th November 2015, at Event City in Manchester. Now in its 5th year, the annual NDA Supply Chain event brings together people that work across the nuclear sector.

When: Wednesday 4th November, Event City Manchester
Registration opens 8am. Main event 9.30am - 4.30pm

To Register for the event, visit the NDA website.

This year, Concurrent Engineering will be exhibiting at Stand 179, where we’ll be looking at the key challenges facing the Nuclear Sector, including the focus on standardising and documenting engineering calculations.

For anyone not yet convinced to attend, here are three reasons for people working in the Nuclear sector to come along to the NDA Supply Chain Event 2015.

#1 Meet and learn from industry thought leaders

The NDA Supply Chain event is an ideal opportunity to meet peers and hear from thought leaders in the Nuclear sector. During the event, there will be presentations by:

  • A senior Government Minister
  • NDA Chief Executive John Clarke
  • Rear Admiral Mike Wareham

There will be opportunities to meet ‘buyers and sellers’ from across the NDA Estate and other Government departments, see what they have to offer and learn from their experiences. There will also be the chance to see technology demonstrations in the Innovation zone.

#2 Celebrate at the awards ceremony

As part of the event, the winners of the NDA Estate Supply Chain Awards will be announced. The awards recognise those suppliers who have collaborated, innovated and successfully implemented new technology. They will also acknowledge how they have used their success within the NDA Estate to export.

As well, the Minister’s SME Award will also be presented.

#3 Discuss current issues facing the industry

With so many people from across the Nuclear sector gathered in one place, the NDA Supply Chain event is an ideal opportunity to discuss current challenges and frustrations that you're facing. Trade stories and discover how others are working to overcome the current issues facing the industry.
